About us

A girl from the city and a guy from the countryside. Our greatest passion is traveling, we can’t help it, it’s in our blood… it is in our DNA! After years of very enjoyable holidays apart and together, it was time for the real work; an actual worldtrip!

Armed with a camera and hiking shoes in a backpack of 10 kilos we visited all the places we have dreamed of for so long. The various cultural and culinary experiences, the diverse nature and meeting different people. The freedom to decide where you are going and how long you’ll stay without any time pressure. Two years of total freedom. A real world trip, oh how we loved it. 

We didn’t have the illusion that we could visit every country on our list and we didn’t want to tick off destinations from that bucketlist, hideous word by the way. We really wanted to enjoy every single place we’d visit and feel the freedom that would come with that. A job well done, I’d say, now that we’re back.

Now that we’ve seen so much of the world, you would think our urge to travel has been soothed and we long for the controversial life, a home, a garden, a pet. Quite the opposite, our passion for traveling has only gotten bigger. We want to keep on exploring, discovering, feeling free ánd we’ll continue to write about it!
